National Sports Club of India Delhi (NSCI Delhi) is a sprawling institution spread over several acres right in the heart of New Delhi with a prestigious history and modern sports, dining, recreational & accommodation facilities. NSCI Delhi along with our “sister club” NSCI Mumbai are one of the oldest and most prominent clubs of India having a large number of affiliations with some of the top clubs around the country.
NSCI’ s strategic location is adjacent to Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium Delhi High Court, India Gate and Supreme Court. Right Opposite the NSCI in the prestigious Pragati Maidan, which hosts regular National & International Exhibitions
The Club has its own history, associated with the eminent leaders of free India, who with great vision and foresight formulated the policy of promoting modern sports in the country.
The Club has multiple dining and recreational facilities, providing professionally managed restaurants, bar, banquet, open dining and lounges, rooms, swimming pool , gymnasium and comprehensive modern sports facilities. The Club regularly hosts live musical nights every week and entertainment events every couple of months.
The Club has been actively involved in conducting various modern sports events such as Tennis Tournaments for Davis Cup, Billiards/Snooker Tournaments, Swimming competitions and Bridge Tournaments at National Level.
Several eminent Sports personalities are Honorary Members of the club. Some of them are Mr. Ajit Pal Singh, Mr. Sachin Tendulkar, Mr. Vinod Kambli, Mr. Mohd. Azharuddin, Mr. Maninder Singh, Mr. Milkha Singh, Mr. Chetan Chauhan, Mr. Kapil Dev, Mr. Madan Lal, Mr. Kirti Azad and Mr. Gautam Gambhir.

National sports club of India was registerd in Delhi under the socieites registration Act on 15th september 1949
It is interesting to note that NSCI had the privilege of having eight members (marked in GOLD in the above list) of its first Executive Committee/Central Council as members of the Constituent Assembly, which framed the Indian constitution.
NSCI celebrated its 60TH Year Anniversary on 23rd February 2013 at Club Lawns and felicitated all those distinguished members of NSCI who have been recognized and awarded by Govt. of India.
